Maatauranga Days at WHS: learning about traditional tools
This is a photo of me and the taonga I made
Some things that I learned about making the taonga are:
- We used cow bone
- In the old day sanding rocks
The best thing about maatauranga day was the food
Something I realised about sanding your taonga is you can use a rock to make it smooth .
